Reda Abdel Qader, head of the Egyptian Tax Authority, said that there is fruitful and continuous cooperation between the authority and the Federation of Egyptian Banks, as the authority is keen to spread tax awareness and extend bridges of trust with all parties to the tax community, especially the banking system, the main supporter of the Egyptian economy.
Banque Misr held a seminar for tax awareness regarding the system of electronic returns and tax approval on profits of legal persons for banking activity.
During the symposium, Abdel Qader added that the Federation of Egyptian Banks is constantly communicating with him to discuss issues of concern to this sector in the interest of the national economy.
He explained that what is happening in the tax authority now represents a real revolution and a tremendous legislative and administrative change that will make the tax system in Egypt a huge leap and move it to an advanced position within the advanced economic countries.
He said that the Tax Authority is able, through the development projects it is witnessing, to provide excellent tax services to the financiers to facilitate them, and to urge them to voluntarily commit.
Mohamed Al-Atribi, Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Banks, thanked the Minister of Finance and the Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority for their support and continuous cooperation in every way with the Federation of Egyptian Banks.
