There were conflicting reports about the fate of prisoner Zakaria al-Zubaidi, who was re-arrested by the Israeli occupation with 3 of his companions, after they succeeded in extracting their freedom from the Israeli Gilboa Prison, on Monday of last week.

During the night, a picture spread that its dealers said was of the prisoner Zakaria Al-Zubaidi, the moment he was transferred to the intensive care room in an Israeli hospital, as a result of the deterioration of his health as a result of the torture he was subjected to during the interrogation.

Yesterday evening, the Israeli Prisons Authority denied what was reported about the deterioration of the health of prisoner Zakaria Al-Zabadi and his transfer to intensive care in a hospital.

Jibril al-Zubaidi, the brother of the prisoner, Zakaria al-Zubaidi, told “Kashef” that the video clip came to them from a special group of the occupation police, and the family has doubts about the person who appeared quickly in the short video clip as their brother Zakaria.

“Kashef” indicated that the observatory team examined the truth of the video, and concluded that the Hebrew channel 12 published the clip on its official channel in the Telegram application, explaining that the wounded Basil Al-Shawamrah, the perpetrator of the Jerusalem operation, appeared yesterday, Monday, at the central bus station, who was transferred to a hospital ( Shaeri Tzedek) to complete his treatment.

For his part, the head of the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, Qadri Abu Bakr, demanded that lawyers be allowed to visit the prisoner Al-Zubaidi and his companions to check on their health.

The investigations revealed that the guard who was following the security cameras was watching TV in the control room without paying attention to the cameras and what they were recording, and he and the rest of the guards did not notice the alert that was activated after the guard dogs bark, as there is a technology at the Prisons Authority to send an alert to guards when the dogs bark .

Days before the operation, some prisoners complained to the guards about the presence of sand in the “sewage system,” in addition to the fact that it was later noticed that there was sand in the green garbage bins inside the prison, and a cleaner drew the attention of many guards to this issue, but they replied that everything was fine. okay.

And the newspaper said that 3 archaeologists from the infantry unit “Marool”, which was formed after the kidnapping of the three settlers in 2014 north of Hebron, are the ones who located Zakaria al-Zubaidi and Muhammad al-Ardah at 5 am, after analyzing and recovering the last escape route last night, from a place they thought It was where the prisoners were staying.

The report claimed that “the investigation began at 22:30 on Friday evening, from a point that the security forces estimated that the two captives had passed through, and the archaeologists analyzed the route taken by Al-Zubaidi and Ardah throughout the night, and they estimated that they followed a path that led them to the truck stop in Umm Al-Ghanam, Depending on the footprints remaining in the area, in addition to a pack of cigarettes and a pack of syrup.”

He added, “At five o’clock in the morning, the criminals arrived at the parking lot and found a model sleeping inside a truck, and Zubeidi was walking tired, limp, and unarmed, 15 meters from the truck. The three realized that Zubeidi had noticed them, and quickly summoned members of the Yamam special unit and forces from the Shin Bet.

The report quoted the Israeli security services’ assessments that “the two prisoners did not have an organized escape plan, as they repeated the same hiding place during the past two days and did not have much food.”

The arrest of Zakaria al-Zubaidi and Muhammad al-Ardah came hours after the re-arrest of the two prisoners, Mahmoud Ardah and Yaqoub Qadri, bringing the number of prisoners who were re-arrested during the past hours, four out of six who had escaped from Gilboa prison, at dawn last Monday.
