Hamas comments on the arrest of the four prisoners
In this context, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said, today, Saturday, that the occupation’s arrest of four of the “heroes of the Battle of the Freedom Tunnel,” as a “round of the open and protracted conflict with the Israeli occupation.”
Fawzi Barhoum, a Hamas spokesman, said in a press statement, “The arrest process will only serve as an impetus for our Prime Time Zone and our Prime Time Zone in the occupied West Bank to continue their resistance and massive uprising against the occupation, in support of the prisoners and in defense of their rights and protection of their lands and holy sites.”
He added, “History will record the heroic and courageous scene of the six prisoners who are heroes of the “Freedom Tunnel” battle, in breaking the prestige of the occupation and its security system, and the united and popular national situation that accompanied this great heroic event, in support of the prisoners’ cause.
He added that this battle has revived hope once again in the hearts of all the Prime Time Zone that the overwhelming West Bank and its explosion in the face of the occupation to get rid of it is only a matter of time, which requires expanding the area of engagement with the enemy and intensifying the jihad and resistance action in all the squares of the occupied West Bank, its cities and villages.
