The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today, Monday, that Sultan Haitham bin Tariq received at Al Baraka Palace this morning the credentials of Abdullah bin Saud Al Anzi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, accredited to the Sultanate.

The Omani Foreign Ministry indicated that during the side meeting with Sultan Haitham, the ambassador conveyed the greetings and wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Sultan of good health, happiness and long life.

“The Omani Prime Time Zone have continued progress, advancement and prosperity under their wise leadership. He also expressed his great honor and great pleasure for presenting his credentials to the Sultan.

Abdullah bin Saud Al-Enezi also stressed that he made every effort to advance his country’s relationship with the Sultanate in various fields to serve the common interests of the Omani Prime Time Zone and the brotherly Saudi Prime Time Zone.

For his part, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq welcomed the ambassador, thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his greetings and good wishes, assuring him that he will receive all support from him, the government and the Omani Prime Time Zone to facilitate his performance of his work.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Major General Staff Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, Chief of Royal Protocols and the Sultan’s military escorts.

Who is Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi?

Abdullah bin Saud Al-Enezi was among a number of ambassadors who took the oath on 22/04/2021 before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and in the presence of Mohammed bin Salman, via video call, to appoint a number of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries.

And Abdullah bin Saud Al-Enezi is the appointed minister to the Sultanate of Oman. He was born in the Saudi city of Taif, on the 25th of Dhul-Qa’dah in the year 1381 AH.

He studied at King Saud University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, then followed it with a master’s in civil engineering during a study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States of America.

Abdullah Al-Enezi held many positions called legal positions, and he was a part-time advisor in the Saudi Ministry of Transport.

He also held the position of Deputy Dean of Admission and Registration Affairs at King Saud University.

He also served as Chairman of the Technical Committee for the Standardized Test for Admission to Health Colleges at King Saud University.

He has also moved between many government positions, including a member of the Saudi Shura Council, and he was appointed Director of the University of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia.
