Last Thursday, the Israeli Magistrate’s Court in Nazareth charged four prisoners, whom Israel re-arrested, after escaping from Gilboa prison for 5 days.
According to Hebrew media, the Magistrate’s Court accused the prisoners of “rescuing a person convicted of a felony from prison, preparing for a terrorist act punishable by life imprisonment, and escaping from the legal custody of a criminal suspect.”
The court also charged the four prisoners with “conspiracy to commit a crime within a terrorist organization, and providing a service and providing means for a terrorist organization.”
The occupation army announced, earlier, the participation of the “Marol” military unit specialized in tracing Prime Time Zone, in the arrests of two of the four prisoners.
Investigations with the four prisoners showed that after the escape of the six prisoners, contact with some of them was cut off, and they had no means of communicating with each other.
Investigations by the Prisons Authority and the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet) also revealed that the six prisoners did not receive any help from anyone, whether from inside or outside the prison.
