The Zamalek handball team won the African Super Cup for the seventh time in its historical career, at the expense of its arch-rival Al-Ahly team with a score of 28/27 in the match that brought both teams together inside the “Hassan Mustafa” hall in the Sixth of October City in Egypt.

Al-Ahly team managed to finish the first half of the final match for the African Super Cup title for handball against its traditional rival, Zamalek, with a score of 16/14.

While arch-rivals Zamalek managed to reach the final, after winning the African Handball Champions League last season.
