Half of the Basic Health Units (UBS) in the city of São Paulo has no vaccines from AstraZeneca for application of the second dose on Thursday, 9. According to the Municipal Health Department, 239 of the 468 posts in the city of São Paulo face a lack of doses. The folder said that it carries out the relocation of vaccines between units to avoid shortages. However, the Secretariat admits that some immunizers may be missing due to the high adherence to vaccination in capital. The city said it will receive 254,556 doses from Pfizer and 128,510 from CoronaVac this Thursday, but it is still awaiting the delivery of doses of AstraZeneca by the Ministry of Health. According to the municipal administration, the entire adult population has already received the first dose and 59.8 % completed the vaccination schedule. Among adolescents aged 12 to 17 years, 65.2% have already taken the first dose.
