ISTANBUL: A helicopter crashed Friday morning in a province in Turkey. Eleven people were killed when an Army helicopter crashed. Two others were seriously injured in the crash. General Usman Erbas was also among the dead. The accident was reported due to dense clouds in the mountains. Thirteen soldiers were martyred in a 2017 helicopter crash. In 1997, 11 Turkish soldiers were killed in an attack by PKK militants in northern Iraq.
