Brazil registered the lowest moving average of deaths per Covid-19 of the last 11 months this Tuesday, 11, according to the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass). The rate for the last seven days was 367. Until then, the lowest average had been registered in November 2020. The drop is influenced by the progress of the vaccination campaign, but it is also reinforced by the long holiday of Nossa Senhora de Aparecida. As a result, the municipalities have fewer people working and the system has fewer cases and deaths registered than normal. The numbers for the next few days may increase because of this. According to Conass, Brazil registered 185 deaths by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours and 7,359 new cases.
