Iran accused 10 officers of shooting down the Ukrainian plane that crashed in Tehran in January 2020, resulting in the death of 176 passengers, the same day that the United States (USA) showed availability to resume talks on the nuclear deal.

As advanced this Tuesday the Associated Press, the announcement was made by Iranian military prosecutor Gholamabbas Torki, after the final accident report was released in March, which pointed to a error in the air defensive system as the cause of the plane crash, but without indicating responsible.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister accused Iran of a “cynical attempt to conceal the real reasons for the crash of the aircraft” and the Canadian Ministry of Transport said the report was not based on “hard facts or evidence” and did not respond “to any pertinent question about what really happened ”.

The plane left Tehran airport for Kiev, Ukraine, on January 8, the day Iran launched a ballistic missile attack against US troops in Iraq. He was slaughtered two minutes after take-off by two missiles.
