Five thousand people participated in a music festival in Liverpool this Sunday, 2. The test event was the first to gather a crowd without mask and social distance in the UK since the beginning of new coronavirus pandemic. To participate in the party organized by the British government in Sefton Park, each person had to present a negative result for a Covid-19 carried out the day before. The public was also encouraged to undergo an RT-PCR exam on the day of the event and retake it five days later, that is, on Friday, 7. From this it will be possible to study whether there was a spread of Sars-Cov -2 and, consequently, whether it will be possible to have a season of music festivals next summer, as was usual before the pandemic. From the 21st of June, the United Kingdom intends to start the fourth stage of flexibilization of the lockdown, which can mark the end of restrictions on agglomerations. However, one of the most important events on the country’s music scene, the Glastonbury festival, has already been canceled and will not happen again this year.
