Lawyers claim that the PT’s lawsuits can only be re-processed when the Court concludes the judgment on the conduct of the former judge in the Guarujá Triplex case
The defense of the ex-president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) requested that the plenary session of the Supreme Court (STF) resume judgment on the former judge’s suspicion Sergio Moro. The lawyers claim that the PT’s files that were in Curitiba have already been sent to the Federal Court of the Federal District (DF), but they can only be re-processed when the Supreme Court concludes the judgment on the conduct of the former Minister of Justice in the case of Guarujá Triplex. The Second Panel of the Supreme Court considered the ex-judge partial and understood that the action involving the PT should be processed in the Federal District. The trial was halted at the end of last month when the score was 7 to 2 by the suspicion de Moro, after a request for a view by Minister Marco Aurélio Mello. He returned the case the following week, but the President of the Court, Minister Luiz Fux, you haven’t set a new date yet. Marco Aurélio Mello retires in July and if the trial does not take place by then, the vote will be with the next minister appointed by Jair Bolsonaro.
