“We are going after. Now, that is the story: if there is not the slightest awareness, it becomes difficult. You have to empathize, love your neighbor. That’s what we ask for. Nobody is happy that Carnival is not playing, but it is the moment when people need to have common sense ”, said the mayor. “We will continue to inspect, will continue to try to prevent this from happening, but the most important thing is to raise people’s awareness,” insisted Paes.
In addition, Eduardo Paes said that the City Hall awaits the arrival of new doses of the vaccine against Covid-19, this weekend, to continue the immunization. “We expect that, in the next 48 hours, more vaccines will arrive. When more vaccines arrive, we follow the normal schedule. It is obvious that you are decreasing the age and reaching more and more people ”, he commented.
