Minister considered the need to continue the investigations and the existence of ongoing steps
the minister of Supreme Federal Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes decided on Monday, 11, to extend for another 90 days the inquiry that investigates alleged interference by the president Jair Bolsonaro (no party) on Federal police. The magistrate also extended, for another 90 days, the inquiry that investigates an alleged digital militia. The PF investigates the existence and alleged funding of an organization that would have acted against democracy and the Democratic Rule of Law on the internet. The investigation into Bolsonaro was opened after the former minister of Justice and Public Security Sérgio Moro accused the president of trying to interfere politically in the PF. In the dispatch of this second, Moraes considered the need to continue with the investigations and the existence of steps in progress. Previously, the inquiry was scheduled to end on 27 November. Last week, Bolsonaro informed the Supreme Court that he wants to be heard in person as part of the investigation. The minister then ordered Bolsonaro to testify to the PF within 30 days.
