Karachi: The Pakistan Coast Guard has arrested 17 Indian fishermen on charges of trespassing into their territorial waters. Seized the three boats on which they were sailing. The fishermen, who were arrested on Friday, appeared in court on Saturday. They were arrested at Sarkreek on the Pak-India water border. The fishermen will be shifted to Malir or Landhi jail in Karachi. Pak arrested 23 Indian fishermen in a similar manner a year ago. This is the first incident after that. Similar incidents are taking place due to the lack of technical equipment by fishermen to identify water boundaries in the Arabian Sea. It has taken years for fishermen trapped by Pakistani forces to be released from prisons in the country.
