Pentagon confirms that UFO footage is authentic

A new series of images and videos of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) filmed by the United States Navy has now been confirmed as authentic by the Pentagon.

While many people often refer to mysterious sightings as UFOs, the most modern term used in defense circles is “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAPs).

UFOs are a topic often associated with conspiracy theories. UAPs, sometimes also called Anomalous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs), are real, representing documented sightings of phenomena that neither the military nor scientific observers can easily identify.

The most recent sightings, provided by filmmaker Jeremy Corbell and reporter George Knapp, include images of a mysterious “pyramid-shaped” ship which was observed to fly across the sky, along with images of three other strange objects.

Now, the Pentagon has confirmed that the images are genuine: are authentic photographs and footage of UAPs captured by the United States Navy.

“I can confirm that the photographs and videos mentioned were taken by Navy personnel,” said Susan Gough, a Pentagon spokeswoman, in a statement quoted by The Black Vault. “To UAPTF [Task Force de Fenómenos Aéreos Não Identificados] included these incidents in its ongoing reviews. ”

For its part, the United States Department of Defense did not clarify anything about the images, remaining silent about what your investigations of these foreign objects may have revealed.

“As we said before, in order to maintain the security of operations and avoid disclosing information that could be useful to potential opponents, DOD does not publicly discuss the details of the raid observations or examinations reported in our designated training camps or airspace. , including those forays initially designated as UAP, ”said Gough.

In a series of briefings intelligence officials in May 2020, a member of the defense reported observations of the sighting of a “pyramid-shaped” spacecraft hovering about 210 meters above the ship, a phenomenon that was filmed by the crew of the USS Russell off the coast of San Diego in July 2019.

In another sighting, a spherical vehicle was observed by the crew on board the USS Omaha, flying into the ocean and disappearing into the water. The documentation suggests that the ship would have sunk, but a subsequent search of the area revealed no debris.

A series of other sightings, all recorded on the same day in March 2019 by an F-18 weapon systems officer, reveal three UAPs seen near Virginia’s Naval Air Station. The objects came to be known as the “Sphere”, the “Acorn” and the “Metal Airship”.

Corbell hopes that by sharing this information, it will further strengthen rational and transparent investigations about these mysterious objects.

In April 2020, the United States Navy released three videos that appear to show aircraft flying faster than the speed of sound. In addition, in January, the CIA revealed three decades of documents about mysterious incidents reported or investigated by the agency.

Second John Ratcliffe, former director of National Intelligence, more unexplained UFO sightings will be disqualified in June – including the one that broke the sound barrier without producing a sonic boom.

The reporting and declassification of these sightings are required by the Intelligence Authorization Act of 2021.
