civil servants of the Rio de Janeiro state who have already completed the cycle of immunization against the Covid-19 will have to return to face-to-face work. The decision was made by the governor Claudio Castro, which has already published the measure in the Official Gazette. Those who chose not to take any vaccine against Covid-19 because they did not want to or do not believe they will also have to return to face-to-face work. According to the guidance of the government of Rio de Janeiro, people return to work in institutions, agencies and departments 14 days after the completion of the vaccination cycle. The return to face-to-face work will be organized according to the characteristic demands and peculiarities of each state department. Rio de Janeiro already accounts, throughout the pandemic, more than 57 thousand deaths throughout the state — more than many countries. Soon, it will reach another sad mark of the pandemic: one million infected. The delta variant is already in over 100 countries around the world and has already started to circulate in Rio.
