O Rio de Janeiro carried out, during this Easter holiday, the largest delivery of vaccines against Covid-19. Almost 900,000 doses have been distributed since last Friday. It is the largest batch among the 11 delivered to the State since the start of the immunization campaign. Now, according to data from the State Department of Health, Rio has already received almost 4.4 million doses of CoronaVac e Oxford/AstraZeneca. Altogether, in this dose distribution, there were 3.8 million vaccines from the Butantan Institute and the rest, just over 25,000, produced by Oxford / AstraZeneca or imported from other countries, not to mention the local production of the immunizer in Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. According to the plan, until last week, 1.2 million people received the first dose. Meanwhile, 360 thousand people have already received the second application. The capital is at a faster pace of immunization, with 12% of the population vaccinated.
