Dar es Salaam: Tanzania has become the first woman president of the country. Samia Suluh Hassan was sworn in as President on Friday. She was sworn in at a ceremony at the local State House, wearing a face mask and holding a Koran in her hand. The event was hosted by Chief Justice Ibrahim Zumaowing. The new president vowed to uphold the country’s constitutional values. The swearing-in ceremony for the presidency of this East African country took place in the presence of very few people in the wake of Kovid. Celebrities came to the event wearing masks. The announcement came just two days after President John Magufuli died. The president’s reckless attitude toward the Kovid problem in Tanzania has been controversial. It was also announced that there was no such problem in the country. Corona was enchanted with prayers. There was an uproar over this. He went missing for two weeks after that.
