Meetings take place in different parts of the city; in the North Zone, Procon teams interrupted an event with more than 500 participants

Videos show young people flocking to different points in the city of São Paulo, at events that violated the various rules of the São Paulo Plan, a set of measures adopted by the state government to confront pandemic of Covid-19. Disrespect for social distance and the absence of protective masks are among the ignored health measures. Participants also disrespected the lockdown night imposed in the State, which prohibits the movement of people from 11 pm to 5 am.
In the East Zone, Rua José da Costa Azevedo, Jardim Vera Cruz, hosted the “Baile do Vera”. Videos show agglomerations of participants at the event, which lasted until Sunday morning. On Facebook, clandestine party was confirmed since the 10th of February. Another dance to enjoy ”, says a publication. A profile on the social network, which promotes the festivity and calls itself the “organizer of the Baile do Vera City”, celebrates the success of the party and even announces the photo of an ID found. In other publications, people question the location of the event and celebrate the party. In no message are there any mention of possible interruptions of the event by inspection bodies, the atmosphere is one of celebration. “Quarantine is over,” says a participant on social media.
In addition to the “Baile do Vera”, São Paulo was also the focus of other agglomerations. In the South Zone, the banned event took place on Rua Carpina, where a line of cars awaited the start of the festivity. At the same time, a clandestine event was also taking place at Rua Professor Teotônio Pavão, in Guaianazes. This Saturday, 27, Procon teams interrupted a party with more than 500 people that took place at the nightclub Montanha Danças, on Avenida Santa Marina, in Freguesia do Ó. Those responsible for the establishment, according to Procon, were charged with abusive practices to the consumer and disrespect to the rules of the São Paulo Traffic News. According to Fernando Capez, director of Procon, 29 establishments were fined for breach of rules since last Friday, 26, until this Saturday. Data on Sunday morning inspections have not yet been released.
