Since then, they have been in isolation at the official residence, but continue to work remotely because their health conditions are good and stable. The text also appeals to Bashar al-Assad and his wife for adhering to measures to prevent the spread of Sars-Cov-2 “in whatever way possible”. At the end of last month, the Syrian government claimed to have received a batch of doses of vaccine against Covid-19, which allowed the country to start the immunization campaign among health workers in several provinces. According to data from the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 56 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in the country, bringing the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 15,981. In addition, there were five deaths, which reached 1,063.
