It is not yet known whether Trump and the former first lady received the first or both doses of the immunizer; it was also not disclosed whether they were inoculated with Moderna or Pfizer vaccines
The ex-president of the U.S, Donald Trump, and your wife, Melania Trump, were discreetly vaccinated against Covid-19 in January, before they left the White House, revealed the local press on Monday 1st. It is not yet known whether Trump, who for months refused to wear a mask in public to protect himself from the disease, and the former first lady received the first or both doses of the immunizer. It was also not disclosed whether they were inoculated with Moderna’s or Pfizer’s vaccine. An aide to the former president consulted by the newspaper “The New York Times” confirmed that the former head of state received the immunization in January, in private. In mid-December, a government official had said that Trump would not receive the vaccine until recommended by the White House medical team.
On Sunday, Trump declared in a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that everyone should get the shot, in his first public speech since the end of his term on January 20. The Republican’s handling of the issue contrasts with that of his successor, Democrat Joe Biden, who received both doses of the vaccine in public and encouraged his compatriots to follow his example. In late September, Trump was infected with the coronavirus, along with his wife, and had to be hospitalized for three days at a health center in Washington DC, from which he was released after being administered the experimental antibody cocktail by the pharmaceutical company Regeneron and the antiviral Remdesivir.
