The former president of U.S, Donald Trump, was acquitted by the Senate this Saturday afternoon, 13, of the accusations of the impeachment process, accused of “incitement to resurrection”, for having, according to impeachment advocates, encouraged the invasion of the Capitol and the war scenes orchestrated by extremists in Washington DC on January 6
That was the first time that the Senate judged the impeachment of a president who has already stepped down. Trump’s mandate ended on January 20th, one week after the impediment is accepted by the Chamber.
