Immigration voice that should not be given until the limit on green cards is lifted
Washington: Leading immigration charity has asked US President Joe Biden to issue new H1B visas to Indians until the restriction on permanent residency or issuance of green cards in the United States is lifted. To this end, representatives of the organization submitted a petition to the Biden government. The appeal was made by Immigration Voice, an organization that supports Indian Americans. The company worries that the restriction on green cards will cause many people to wait decades for them, and that a new H1B visa will add thousands more to the list. The company responded by allowing Biden to apply for a visa online from March 9.
Aman Kapoor, the company’s president, said the new visas would now “60,000 new people accidentally fall victim to green cards”. If H1B visas are issued from time to time without clarifying the issue of green cards, the employee and their family members will have to live at the mercy of the companies, he said. It is said to cause damage in the future. The Voice of Immigration, on the other hand, has over 30 lakh Indians as members. They include doctors, engineers, scientists, and businessmen. The company is fighting for the rights of Indians working in America.
